MOTION: Councillor S. Laing

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to provide increased inspection on building works as many of the builders are leaving broken footpaths and badly damaged grass areas."

REPORT:

The following is a standard condition on all Planning Permissions :-

'' The applicant shall maintain all footpaths and roads affected by the development works in a safe and tidy condition to the satisfaction of the Area Engineer.''

Arrangements are in hands to carry out periodic inspections of development works to ensure compliance with this condition.
