QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

"To ask the Manager to indicate completion dates for traffic lights at the junction of Jobstown Road and Fortunestown Way and also at the junction of the Cheeverstown Road and Fortunestown Way?"

REPLY:

The Contractor has advised that the lights at the junction of Jobstown Road/Fortunestown Way will be switched on in the next couple of weeks. The pedestrian lights on the Cheeverstown road adjoining the swimming pool  should also by activated in the next couple of weeks. The delay arises from the nonavailibility of electrical power.
