"To ask the Manager to provide details in terms of numbers of houses purchased on the open market to replenish the Council's housing stock in the Tallaght area in the past 24 months - this figure to give a breakdown of houses that have sale completed and sale agreed to date?"

REPLY

The purchase of second hand houses forms part of the Councils Multi Annual Housing Construction / Acquisition programme.

To date we have successfully completed the acquisition of 15 dwellings in the Tallaght Area within the last 24 months. The purchase of an additional 12 no. dwellings in the Tallaght area are nearing completion.
