QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh

"To ask the Manager if he is aware of dumping into Tymon Park from cottages occupied by travellers near the Cuckoos Nest and will he take measures to resolve the problem?"

REPLY:

The Litter Warden is aware of this problem and is keeping the area under daily monitoring and patrol.  Unfortunately no evidence has been found to date in the area that would enable the Warden to instigate proceedings against the offenders at this location.
