MOTION: Councillor M. Árdagh

"That the Manager carry out an inspection of the laneway that is servicing as the entrance to the Builders Yard at the rear of Muckross Grove (entrance off Muckross Avenue) which is collapsing under the weight of the industrial trucks delivering building materials to the yard, the surface of which is disintergrating and to ascertain if this is a hazard to the services laid under the laneway as this matter is of great concern to residents in the area. "

REPORT

The laneway at Muckross Grove has been inspected. There are no services present underneath the paving except a drainage gully and piping which are in working order. Maintenance depot staff are aware of the condition of the surface and have included it for repair in the 2007 works programme.
