QUESTION: Councillor K. Warren

"To ask the Manager could he please look at the possibility of placing double lights at the end of each cul de sac to Dodder Park, as a way of lighting up pedestrian entrances and exits to the Park and improving people's safety in the area and would he make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

The provision of double arm brackets on existing lights at the end of each cul de sac would not be sufficient to provide proper lighting to pedestrian entrances and exits to the Park.  The provision of a new installation in the Park would fall within the remit of the Parks Department and Public Lighting will refer the matter to them for consideration.
