QUESTION: Councillor M. Árdagh

"To ask the Manager to examine the open space and the area near the wall at the bottom of Grange Road adjacent to St. Mary's Boys N.S. where parents have seen rats?"

REPLY

The Principal Environmental Health Officer has been requested to have the area examined to establish the presence of rats.  This matter will be dealt with by the Pest Control Unit on receipt of the Environmental Health Officers report. Cases are dealt with on a priority basis.
