QUESTION: Councillor S. Laing

 "To ask the Manger to include Willington Green for the provision of one traffic calming measure outside 3A Wellington Cottages?"

 REPLY:

In response to a large number of requests for traffic calming measures throughout the Council’s administrative area the Council’s Transportation Strategic Policy Committee at its meeting on the 11^th May 2006 adopted a new Traffic Calming programme comprising of four schemes in each of the Council’s five electoral areas.  The selection of each individual scheme will be made by the relevant Area Committee.

Willington Green /Wellington Cottages is on the traffic calming request list for the Terenure Rathfarnham electoral area.

The Terenure Rathfarnham Area Committee will review the traffic calming request list with a view to selecting traffic calming schemes in February 2007.
