QUESTION: Councillor J. Neville

"To ask the Manger to have arranged contact with the Developer of the (Arena Development) at Whitestown Way and An Gardai as a matter of urgency as vehicles servicing the site are parking at the adjacent cycle lane and thus preventing cyclists from safely using the cycle lane?"

REPLY:

The Council's Development Department has arranged for work to be carried out on this site. They are in contact with the developers who have been advised that parking on the footpath/verge/cycleway is not permitted and to desist from doing so. In the event of their staff not complying the Gardai will be notified.
