QUESTION: Councillor J. Neville

" To ask the Manager to have arranged the removal of or provision of a skip for the removal of the large amounts of debris at the laneway at the rear of * details supplied. This gated laneway has been used as a dumping ground and there is also a severe vermin problem. The resident of the above address has only recently purchased the property and has had to deal with both the dumping of rubbish and the vermin problem.?"

REPLY

To date no complaints have been received in relation to the laneway at this location.  The Council in previous years have cleaned out laneways in this area with an enormous cost to the Council.  A quote has been sought for the above work to be done and it will commence soon. 

Once the work is completed the Estate Management Section will be looking at preventative measures for the laneway to ensure that this does not happen again.
