QUESTION: Councillor T. McDermott

“To ask the Manager to arrange for the provision of signage indicating the house numbers of rows of houses at strategic points in the Pearse Bros. and Palmer Estates, as the original scheme of numbering is confusing to visitors?”

REPLY:

Numbering of individual houses is a matter for the householder concerned and is not undertaken by the Roads & Traffic Department. It is not clear what additional street name plates are required given that the existing estates are currently identified. Contact will be made with the residents association to determine what they have in mind.
