"To ask the Manager install ramps or other traffic calming measures on the access road to Templeogue Wood to prevent motorists speeding in the estate which is of concern to the residents?"
REPLY:
In response to a large number of requests for traffic calming measures throughout the Council’s administrative area the Council’s Transportation Strategic Policy Committee at its meeting on the 11th May 2006 adopted a new Traffic Calming programme comprising of four schemes in each of the Council’s five electoral areas. The selection of each individual scheme will be made by the relevant
The Main Access Road in Templeogue Wood is on the traffic calming request list for the Terenure/Rathfarnham electoral area.
The Terenure/Rathfarnham Area Committee will consider the selection of locations for traffic calming early next year.
