QUESTION: Councillor Joe Neville

" To ask the Manager if there are any proposals to extend/continue the very successful "Braveheart Project" recently initiated between this Local Authority & YMCA-PAKT with specific reference to the Tallaght Central Area and will the Manager note that this project was an outstanding success in the West Tallaght area during its project time of January-June, 2006.?."

REPLY

The Council's Housing Dept is keenly aware of the success of this project and of the potential for substantial improvements to the quality of life of families and communities that the continued involvement of the Council's Estate Management Section would bring about.

It is intended to continue with the Braveheart Project and plans are currently being put in place to extend the project to other areas of the county.
