QUESTION: Cllr. Alex White

 "To ask the Manager to provide litter bins at Palmer Park/Pearse Brothers and also a light at the ESB sub-station to deter dumping?"

 

REPLY

The cleansing engineer reports that he proposes to install a number of additional litter bins to service the entrances to both Palmer Park and Pearse Brothers Park from Taylor ’s Lane, and also to service the pedestrian walkway which links the school at Glenmore Estate with the shops at Whitechurch Estate.  These litter bins will be installed in due course, once litter bin installations have resumed.

  

The issue of the installation of a light at the ESB sub-station has been referred to the road maintenance section for their consideration.
